A Letter From Trip
After 10 years of hosting family music events I have decided that with the economy so bad — and losing so much money over the past few years — to take a step back for a while.
I have decided to take time to spend with my family — and myself — which I have neglected for quite a few years now. I’m not the child I think I am or at least my body isn’t. I have not swam in the ocean, fished in a stream, gone to a festival (where I wasn’t working), seen a doctor, been to a family reunion, or gone camping. I only saw one Dead show since I opened the business. My body is telling me its time to take a break and enjoy the simple, beautiful things in life and take care of myself for a bit.
More than likely you will see me at at the festivals that continue here at Sunshine Daydream and they will still have the same family-style atmosphere that we have created and maintained over the years. I will be assisting the new folks over the next year as the transition takes place.
As in the past I hope to see all of you here. Please keep checking back as many new and exciting details are to come. I thank all of you who have helped out and attended festivals here at Sunshine Daydream. I love you all and I will see you somewhere along the way. Thanks for supporting the farm, Sunshine Daydream, the WV music scene, and the rest of the music scene as well.
Sincerely,
Trip
